Dimensions ca. 8” diameter x 6” deep.
This was an experimental piece, made from three concentric parabolic forms which were wetted, distorted and pierced, then assembled together. A solid wood button was placed at the centre and covered with gold leaf. Here I am filing one of the three forms:

This piece was displayed in 2015 in the Peabody Essex Museum’s exhibition of pieces from Bob and Lillian Bohlen’s collection,”Audacious: the fine art of wood”.
